Create something beautiful and unique with these women's Halloween costume DIY ideas. (This blog contains Amazon affiliate links.)

1. A cat. Use a simple headband and heavy gauge wire to make your own cat ears. You could wrap the wire with ribbon, fuzzy fabric, or string on beautiful beads. Black, white and/or cheetah print are great when considering what to wear.

2. A witch. Use a headband to make a witch's hat. Use felt, cardboard and embellishments and hot glue your hat to your headband. (Specific witch looks: Glinda the good witch, Wicked Witch of the West, a Sanderson sister, Maleficent (carry around some apples,) Ursula, a Beauxbaton from Harry Potter in all light blue, Hermoine, or the Grand High Witch.

2. Utilize your makeup! Use a black liner to draw on a cat nose, cat eyes and whiskers. Other ideas are a skull, jack-o-lantern, Violet Beauregard (fake freckles and purple shadow & highlighter around your nose,) Tinkerbell (green eyeshadow, freckles), or Wednesday Addams (Black lips, smoky eyes, and two long braids). I'll link my favorite makeup for these below!

3. A butterfly, dragon, bat, or fairy. Make your own wings out of a big cardboard box. Get a reference photo from google images, sketch out on cardboard, paint and attach loops of elastic to make it wearable.
